Hello, Blogger. We meet again.

Oh hey, look who has resurfaced in the bloggerverse. Let's catch up, shall we?

During my blogging hiatus I've:
- participated in the Great International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen. Or GISHWHES for short.
- attended my second, and probably last, Supernatural convention.
- went to my 5th Hanson concert.

But the biggest thing in my life at this moment is the Hope to Haiti project. The earthquake in Haiti may no longer be making headlines, but there are still people who need our support. But I want to do more than just raise funds; I want to go to Haiti and get involved. That's why I have the ambitious goal of raising $5,000* If I'm one of the first 25 people to do so, I will join Random Acts in Jacmel and work on one of their projects.

So my question is...will you help me help Haiti? Even if you are unable to donate, simply sharing my fundraising page with others will be of great help.

I know that I've said this before, but this time I really am going to be updating more; so keep your eyes peeled for more posts as I share my fundraising tales, appropriately tagged "Road to Haiti."

* All donations are going towards tools and supplies required for the project, not for personal travel expenses.

NashCon 2011

So I've been MIA...again. My apologies to those who still read this thing. But at least I return with a bit of awesome news..

I got to meet Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins!

Last weekend I attended NashCon, a Supernatural convention in Nashville, and it was the most fun I have had in a long time. I had my photo taken with the three men listed above and I also got their autographs. During NashCon I also met and received autographs from Richard Speight, Matt Cohen, Brock Kelly, and Corin "Corcky" Nemec. All of the actors are incredibly nice and have a great sense of humor; I promise that you will not stop laughing if any of these men have the mic!

Last but certainly not least, Jason Manns gave a free concert as a part of the convention. And oh my goodness...his voice will melt your heart! If you ever have the chance to attend a Supernatural convention or see Jason in concert, do it! You won't be disappointed.
